Phono Stage
The XIA30 uses a unique phono stage design that employs two audiophile grade op-amps per channel that provide very low THD, TIM and noise, together with switchable Moving Magnet or Moving Coil cartridge options.
Tone Controls
The XIA30 incorporates a specially designed passive tone control circuit to give natural sound quality. The tone control stage can be completely by-passed with the Direct switch to give natural sound quality.
High Quality Components
The XIA30 uses some very nice audiophile grade components throughout, providing exceptional accuracy to phono and tone control responses and a nice full sound even at lower volumes.
High Current
The ability to really drive dynamic passive speakers is down to good current delivery and the XIA30 has this in spades. The power amplifier section in the XIA30 includes 30 Amp high peak output devices and an optimised power supply design to keep speakers in check and provide the sort of dynamic drive modern music demands. Furthermore the XIA30 employs a specially designed output stage using perfect virtual image topology to make it possible to connect directly to your loudspeakers without the need for relay contacts to offer the best sound quality possible.
Toroidal Transformer
Of course no amplifier is complete without a competent power supply section and a robust toroidal transformer able to provide the continuous power needs of the amplifier circuit. The universal power transformer in the XIA30 has passed all international safety standards and exhibits exceptionally low RF noise to help give the XIA30 the ultimate in crystal clear sound.
Gold Connectors
Helping to transfer all signals in and out of the amplifier in the most reliable way, all RCA connectors and the substantial binding post speaker terminals are gold plated for the most reliable audio connection.
About AMC
Since 1970, AMC has forged a reputation for being a powerful and reliable electronics manufacturer in the Hi-Fi and Smart Home business. AMC is responsible for some of the world’s most famous brands and high-end esoteric electronics. Their main focus is to build reliable and powerful amplifiers with a life expectancy of at least 25 years.
Peter Bath and Malcolm Blockley, formerly at NAD, Acoustic Research, Proton and others, have harnessed the cost efficiencies that are available from AMC’s “common-platform” product design and production efficiency to bring to market a product range that pretty much ticks all the boxes on an Audiophile’s wish list … at very attractive prices.
