The Xtension 10 Evolution’s main platter is crafted from a custom alloy, dampened with Sorbothane® on the inner side, and topped with recycled vinyl records to act as a natural mat. Baked into a resonance-free “sandwich” and precision balanced, this heavy platter spins silently on an inverted ceramic ball bearing with magnetic suspension. Paired with the Pro-Ject 10cc Evolution tonearm, also designed with high-mass and isolated from the main board by Sorbothane®, this turntable offers unmatched fidelity. A set of Sorbothane®-damped counterweights accommodates cartridges from 4 to 14g, and the high gloss finishes in mahogany, piano, and olive make it a luxurious addition to any space.
