Rega Planar 6 Turntable – Ania Pro

The Planar 6 is built around the huge success of the RP8 and RP10 turntables. It is the first new Rega turntable to be constructed with an ultra lightweight Tancast 8 polyurethane foam core plinth (a material developed for the aerospace industry). This material is sandwiched between a new HPL (high-pressure laminate). HPL is exceptionally thin whilst extremely rigid and is presented in a stunning Polaris matt grey finished with high gloss polymer black edge trim.

The Rega Planar 6 Ania Pro is designed to extract the finest details from vinyl records, offering an exceptional balance of warmth and precision. Its Neo power supply with DSP-generated speed control ensures consistent playback, eliminating speed fluctuations. The Tancast 8 foam-core plinth, combined with double brace technology, enhances rigidity while maintaining a lightweight, stylish design. The RB330 tonearm with a stainless balance weight ensures precise tracking, allowing records to be played with remarkable accuracy and low distortion.

Equipped with the Ania Pro Moving Coil (MC) cartridge, this turntable delivers outstanding soundstage depth, crisp highs, and deep, controlled bass. The custom dual-layer smoked/clear float glass platter contributes to rotational stability, while the EBLT Reference drive belt reduces wow and flutter. Finished in a Polaris grey or white matt finish, the Planar 6 Ania Pro is a high-end turntable that combines premium materials with meticulous engineering for an immersive vinyl experience.
